Political, social and economic conditions of development of contemporary Ukraine and its regions

"There is an urgent need for publications pertaining to the con-ditions of development of contemporary Ukrainę (...). This need relates in particular to publication which arę not burdened with certain political coloration or focused on finding problems and challenges, but ones that sketch positive scenarios of develop-ment of Ukrainę and its individual regions. The fact that exactly such a prospect was the starting point for the authors of the book under review should be positively assessed. (...) The authors of individual articles that mąkę up the publication point to the complexity and multidimensionality of development of contemporary Ukrainę (...), base their considerations on the literaturę, reports, analyses and press materials. The substantive level of the publication should be positively assessed".
